Some disclaimers before we start: most of my Fyrinnae shades are pressed and I don't need or use a base with these unless otherwise specified. All my swatches are made by patting on with a fingertip over bare, moisturised skin. There are many excellent Fyrinnae swatches around, so if you want to see them in their loose natural state or packed over Pixie Epoxy, please hop over to Makeup Me Happy and then google is your oyster. EYE A frame of Alchemist's Curse and Shinigami with a mix of acid green from Aye Captain, OMGWTF and Bitey Tyrannosaur in the centre of the lid. Alchemist's Curse and Velvet Vampire to define socket, blended out with Aye Captain. Velvet Vampire to line lower lashline.

BASE Vapour Organic Atmosphere Luminous stick 90 mixed with Suki CC Cream 02 lavender. Vapour Illusionist concealer 000 under eyes.
MONDAY
Nijiro (loose), Dressed to Kill, Gilded Wings, Sequinned Master
EYE Sequinned Master on mobile lid, with Nijiro patted over it, concentrating on the inner corner. Gilded Wings in outer socket, faded inwards, top edge blended with Sequinned Master on its own. Dressed to Kill as liner, Nijiro in centre of lower lashline.

BASE KATE Powderless Liquid BR-C foundation with Burberry concealer 01 under eyes.
I will skip all the pretty colors to ask the most important question: how do you like the Vapour foundation and concealer?

ReplyDeleteHow do you like the KATE foundation? Does it have more coverage than (ironically) the High Coverage Foundation, where the Bright-up Color is so freaking sheer?
Hi Julia :D Honestly this is sheer too -- the Bright Up shades are technically primers I suppose :/

DeleteApparently what it took for me to overcome my fear of bright sky blue eyeshadow was help from a kid. (Inspired by Suzy Bishop's Moonrise Kingdom makeup):

(Shu CR330 over lip balm lets me get away with it, and was enjoyable on such a grey day. Just wish I had those sultry low eyebrows, though at least my natural expression looks sulky.)

ReplyDeleteA few suggestions from a short hair girl (used-to-be),
1. Go Shorter
Short sides - Badass rocker chick
Short Fringe - Twiggy Cute
2. Volume up or volume down.
Short hair can look flat and unflattering. No room for in-betweens.
So either you add body (usually good for the growing out stage) or keep it very tapered.
