....which I tend not to post about paradoxically because I wear them so frequently, my brain somehow assumes everyone is as familiar with them as I am.... yeah, good job, brain. And with all the sugar I feed you, too. Thanks to a lovely reader email (hi Kathy :D And sorry!) I present Sonia Rykiel 09 and 10 quad swatches! One of the lesser known brands, but my fave all the same! I think I have 11? The neutral quad, can't think of it off the top of my head...
ReplyDeleteThank you, thank you for posting these swatches! Squeee! I hate to pay the inflated prices at ichibankao for them, but I guess it's cheaper than a trip there, right? Your lovely pictures pushed me over the brink into the rabbit hole of Asian cosmetics, and I am having fun with it. Now to resist the siren call of Suqqu...Thank you again for posting these swatches!
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad you saw <3
DeleteI recently heard Sonia Rykiel pulled out of Hong Kong :( So that's an end to lovely mid-range prices and swatch-before-I-buy for me too.
What else should we check out from this brand?
ReplyDeleteCream eyeshadows and base makeup!
DeleteI adored the lipsticks but they have just been reformulated for this spring... Japanese makeup is so tricksy to keep up with like that.
Hmm... I don't think I need their mousse eyeshadows, given that I'm pretty satisfied with my Chanel Illusions d'Ombre shadows. However, I'm always interested in base makeup and foundations. I'll try to see if I can find their counter when I go to Japan in March. Man, I have a feeling I'll go cosmetics crazy when I get there. :P
DeleteThanks.
I did not even know that the brand had a cosmetic line. The pigmentation looks amazing! Thank you for sharing this :).
ReplyDeleteOne of those sneaky French brands pulling the made-in-Japan-for-Asian-markets-only thing! ;)
DeleteAnd "Enduring Loves" sounds like a great category, and I look forward to reading them.
ReplyDeleteohh, I once got one of their palettes thanks to a blogsale (Lotuspalace, where has she been?) and loved most of the texture of the palette. I'm in love with everything that hints to peach lately, so both palettes have one hue I'm eyeing...although curious for their Spring 2013 too
ReplyDeleteI remeber your first posts about SR! I got a palette as well and really like it. The lipsticks are also very nice <3 / Claire
ReplyDeleteAs if you need to try.. you can make EVERYTHING look good w/ you pics of swatches, FOTDs, etc. These look lovely, such a shame that we can't get it here in the U.S.
ReplyDeleteI love it when people review their favorites, it really says something about a product when the love doesn't wear off.
ReplyDeleteWow no 10 looks so gorgeous on your arm swatch. That green screams to me. Looking at your post makes me want to try Sonia Rykiel soon :)
ReplyDeleteONE swipe?!! HOLY MOTHER...!!!
